We are very excited about the newest addition to Planet Academy, Our photography studio ‘Studio 406′is offering some fantastic photographic packages. Our photographers are used to working with models and achieving amazing images for our clients but we felt everyone should have the chance to look and feel amazing and have stunning photographs that make you look like you just stepped off the cover of a magazine… The studio is in a welcoming and comfortable environment with friendly people to relax and pamper you. All photo shoots have a pre-shoot consultation to ensure we all know exactly what YOU want. Then on the day of your shoot, our expert team will make sure you have everything you need for your bespoke photographic experience. We have something for everyone and every occasion.
We will still be doing our fabulous Model portfolio’s, so if yours is in need of an update come and talk to us about what we can offer you. Your portfolio is your shop window and can make or break you in this ever more competitive industry…
The Academy offers model training to models just starting their careers. We give solid advice on the industry and how to run your self as a successful business. We run 2 training days per year in August and March and cover everything from walking the runway to completing your tax return. We are also on the end of the phone for follow up advice. We also offer advice on model portfolios and photographic shoots that suit the career path each individual model wants to take at a fair price.
Our Model experience days are due to resume in September and take place on the last Sunday in every month-apart from December! We are approached by teenagers daily, who either want to be a model or relatives and friends think they should be… Or they want to do something to build their confidence. These experience days offer the chance to see what the industry is really about and have a fun ‘confidence building’ day at the same time. We bring in professional hair and make-up artists and models who give lots of advice as well as teaching catwalk and posing for test shoots. Modelling isn’t for everyone, but anyone can come and experience a day in the life of a model and will leave feeling more confident and with new life skills and friends…
